Eric Thomas Hula, 25, of Charles City, Virginia, passed away on Apr. 3, 2022, after a long battle with schizophrenia. Eric was born on Jan. 29, 1997, in Blacksburg, Virginia. He was especially close with his sisters Emma and Ellie. He was fiercely protective of them and always had their best interests at heart. Eric was gentle and loving with animals, including his cats Nip and Hum, and his cat Graystone, whom he was heartbroken to lose last year. Christopher M. Golderos, 44, passed away unexpectedly on Mar. 5, 2022. Christopher graduated from Fork Union Military Academy and later became a Journeyman out of Local 45 International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. He loved being outdoors and working with his hand. Christopher is survived by his parents, Betty K. Golderos and Victor R. Alvin “Dennis” Hogge, 75, passed away on Feb. 1, 2022, in the loving care of his daughter at his home in Williamsburg, Virginia. Dennis was born in New Kent County and was the second of nine children. He was a United States Marine with an honorable discharge, a Vietnam veteran, a member of the Chickahominy Indians Tribe Eastern Division in New Kent County, and a member of Tsena Commocko Baptist Church. Sherry Marcine Brown was born on Aug. 26, 1939, in Pennsylvania. She lived in the small town of Greencastle until her early teens, when her family sold the Greencastle Sanitary Dairy and moved to Clearwater Island, Florida. After high school at the beach, Sherry attended Florida State University, earning a master’s degree in speech therapy. While enrolled she practiced synchronized swimming and later appeared (underwater) in an Ester Williams movie. Kimberly Ann Clark, 68, of Quinton, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 1, 2022. Kim was originally born in Cumberland, Maryland, and met her husband, Bill, in Northern Virginia and eventually moved to Quinton in 1980. Kim loved butterflies, gardening, tending to her flowers, and working with stones. But most of all, Kim cherished being a loving “Mamie” to her granddaughters. Charles worked for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation for 28 years as a horticulturist, providing extensive knowledge of trees, flowers, vegetables, nuts, bushes, and fruits.
