Temple Vaiden Pomfrey, a lifelong resident of New Kent, passed away on May 9, 2016, at the age of 98. Temple and his twin sister, Thelma were born on March 3, 1918 to Simon Augustus and Mary Williams Pomfrey. His older brother, Russell, and sister, Laura, completed the family whose heritage has been centered in New Kent for generations.
