Michelle Elizabeth Bryhn and Rodney Keith McNew were jointed together in Holy Matrimony on Oct. 19, 2019 at Providence United Methodist Church in Quinton, Virginia. The ceremony was performed by Pastor Charlie Reynolds in a small, but very intimate ceremony that was shared among family and very close friends. It was followed by a wedding reception. The couple will reside in Williamsburg.

Scott graduates Aviation school

Private First Class Levi Scott of Charles City graduated from the 1/222 U.S. Army Aviation Training Brigade in Ft. Eustis on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Scott was recognized as a Distinguished Honor Graduate in his class, receiving awards at the company, battalion, and brigade levels for outstanding academics, physical performances, and leadership. He will also receive an Army Achievement Award for his outstanding overall performance. Scott is now a member of the Virginia Army National Guard with the 224th Aviation Battalion and is currently employed by Automated Precision Instruments in Newport News as an application engineer.
